A psychological assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of an individual's psychological functioning, including cognitive abilities, emotional well-being, personality factors, and mental health status. It helps identify specific concerns, inform treatment planning, and provide clarity about psychological functioning. Psychological assessment and treatment are essential components of evidence-based mental health care.
